7 steps to complete big tasks

7 steps to complete big tasks

We get distracted and exhausted easily  while working on big tasks. If a project takes a lot of time to complete we get tired to work on that continuously. We become  energy less  while doing that and focus less on the work because it looks like a huge rock to hit that and seems more energy and time consuming.

It is always suggested that divide the big tasks into smaller ones to work on them easily and quickly.Breaking down tasks into parts can avoid distractions and your brain focus more on completing the task without getting exhausted and neglecting  other activities.

You can do it in these 7 steps:

  1. Think about the task and important parts of task.
  2. Divide the task into its component parts.
  3. Prioritize the component parts, which are most important one for the project.
  4. Evaluate effort require for completing each part of the task.
  5. Create a timeline to complete the each part.
  6. Start doing work on the component parts in order to complete the big project.
  7. Overview all of your work for the big project.

This Strategy is also applicable while working on your goals.

Well you have said the major things. But I will like to emphasize on priority.
The most important thing about tasks is knowing the most important ones, if it is difficult break it down it an achievable ones just like a bricklayer that want to build a house will start from scratch i.e. from foundation to the beam level. It’s just little by little than rushing it.
Let me stop here for now.
This is really a nice helpful for those who are stressed……
